The objective of the BlackRock Direct Property Wholesale managed fund is The primary aim of the Fund is to provide investors with exposure to a diversified portfolio of direct property investments by selectively acquiring quality investment properties which provide a blend of income and capital growth. We aim to achieve this objective and outperform the Mercer Unlisted Property Funds Index (before fees and taxes) over rolling five year periods.
The strategy of the BlackRock Direct Property Wholesale managed fund is The Property Trust is invested predominately in a portfolio of direct property and may also invest up to 25% of its assets in unlisted property trusts. The aim is to grow the Property Trust by prudent acquisition of traditional investment grade properties. Where deemed appropriate, redevelopment of existing or newly acquired properties may be undertaken following detailed feasibility studies being carried out, taking account of tenancy pre-commitments.
