Question

I want to invest in silver and gold. what would you recommend? - Submitted by Anthony - Submitted by Anthony

Answer

Hi Anthony,

Firstly, we can't recommend any companies specifically. If you want to invest in the commodity you can look for the exchange-traded funds (ETFs). Using the ETF filter tool available on our sister website Eureka Report, a search for commodity ETFs brings up the following for gold and silver:

QAU - Betashares Gold Bullion ETF (A$ Hedged)

GOLD - ETFS Physical Gold

PMGOLD - Perth Mint Gold

ETPMAG - ETFS Physical Silver

I hope this helps and if you are interested in commodities the Eureka Report has a dedicated contributor by the name of Tim Treadgold that focuses on them.
