RFM Chicken Income - Managed Fund (Closed)

Fund Objective
The aim of the Chicken Income Fund (CIF) is to provide investors with competitive risk-adjusted returns, in the form of quarterly income payments, generated by contract chicken growing activities.
Fund Strategy
The CIF is one of the largest contract chicken growing operations in Australia, owning 110 chicken sheds on ten chicken farms in Griffith, NSW. The Fund purchased the farms from Bartter Enterprises Pty Ltd (Bartter's), and simultaneously entered into a 20-year broiler (chicken) growing contract with Bartter's. The grower contract compensates the CIF as if all assets are fully used for the period of the contract through a fixed grower payment with adjustments for performance and expenses.
