Fund Objective
To achieve a return (after tax and Investment management fees) that exceeds CPI increases by at least 2% pa over rolling three year periods. Achieve a return (over the medium to longer term which is competitive with comparable funds that have a similar allocation to growth assets and similar risk characteristics.
Fund Strategy
Invests 70% of the underlying investments in defensive asset classes (cash and fixed interest), and 30% in growth asset classes (shares and property). Long-term average asset mix: Australian shares 16%, overseas shares 7%, property 7%, Australian fixed interest 35%, Australian index-linked 10%, overseas fixed interest 10% (hedged), cash 15%. Fund may use derivatives.
