Fund Objective
The objective of this option is to outperform the S&P/ASX 300 Accumulation Index over the medium-term (before fees) by investing in a diverse portfolio of Australian shares by using an active investment strategy.
Fund Strategy
Macquarie uses a combination of quantitative screening and fundamental research to produce a final portfolio of stocks. Initially stocks are ranked by screening them for attributes that make them attractive investments. This is done using statistical signals, which include company earnings, valuation measures, and quality and momentum indicators. Fundamental research is then conducted on the top ranked stocks to understand the key drivers to a company and forecast the company's operating performance based on the factors.
