Question

Hi, Where does an infrastructure fund like MICH or IFRA sit in the asset allocation of my portfolio? Is it shares or is it property investment? - Submitted by Sarah

Answer

Hi Sarah,

With the InvestSMART Portfolio Manager, these securities get put under the Property tab. We use that asset class in conjunction with infrastructure. You will see for example in the alternative assets section where you can choose your own asset class or in the asset class mapping section for listed securities you can select Property & Infrastructure.

When you go into the HealthCheck section of the Portfolio Manager have a look at the Asset Class Breakdown tab. That will tell you how everything you have entered in your portfolio is allocated.
